Before I ever thought about copying a blueprint, I was comfortable being myself.
I wore what felt authentic to me. I loved what I loved. I didn't care if you liked it. I didn't care if you even knew what it was.
And without realizing it at the time, that mindset became the foundation of everything I've built.
If you want to build something that actually works — a brand, a business, a life — you need thick skin and almost a reckless level of self-belief. If you're constantly worried about what other people think, that mentality isn't cautious. It's crippling.
Here's the truth most people avoid.
No one cares what you're doing unless it does something for them. That's not disrespect. That's reality.
The real masterclass is emotional attachment. That's why storytelling works. That's why branding works. That's why connection always takes you further than any single skill ever will.
I've adapted. I continue to learn what building and marketing actually mean. Selling isn't magic. It's psychology.
